Spirit of America Art Competition

The Spirit of America Art Museum will be sponsoring TWO types of art competitions throughout our 5-year national tour. The main competition is national in scope, and managed through this website.

The secondary competitions will be focused on school children and young people; held locally in the towns and cities that we visit on tour. Those competitions will be handled by the mobile education centers and teachers to encourage participants to create patriotic works of art - and be rewarded for doing so.

The primary national contests have two goals:

  1. To inspire American artists to create new realism art that illustrates and enhances the true Spirit of America: Freedom, Love of Country, Hard Work, Breath-Taking Scenery, Patriotism, Faith, and the American Dream; as well as

  2. To build our collection of art that will travel the country for five years and be seen by millions of people, including pieces that can become part of the permanent collection of the eventual brick and mortar museum.

If you care to participate, please read the information below and follow all instructions carefully.  We look forward to seeing your great work!

NOTE: Competitions are only available to American citizens and legal permanent residents of the United States of America.

Finalists and Winners will be required to provide proof of status before receiving Awards.
