Multiple art contests may be held over the course of the national Tour of the mobile museum. For each contest, there will be 4 FINALISTS and 1 WINNER chosen for each of the Nine Categories & Themes that are listed and described on this website:

• HALL OF HEROES

• SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

• FOUNDING FATHERS

• PICTURE PERFECT

• DIGITAL REALISM

• SCULPTURE COURT

• INSPIRING ILLUSTRATORS

• YOUTH GALLERY

CATEGORY FINALIST AWARD:

• Five Hundred U.S. Dollars ($500.00)

• Display on the Spirit of America Museum website

• Live display in the Spirit of America Mobile Art Museum as it tours the United States 

• Award also serves as purchase of the artwork by Spirit of America Museum

• If the Museum sells the work of art within 5 years of purchasing it from the artist, the artist will be notified, and will receive a 25% royalty on any amount received above the original purchase price paid for the award

• Contract will be provided and signed detailing all agreements before award is issued and art is obtained by Museum

CATEGORY WINNER AWARD: 

• One Thousand U.S. Dollars ($1,000.00)

• Display on the Spirit of America Museum website

• Live display in the Spirit of America Mobile Art Museum as it tours the United States 

• Award also serves as purchase of the artwork by Spirit of America Art Museum

• If the Museum sells the work of art within 5 years of purchasing it from the artist, the artist will be notified, and will receive a 25% royalty on any amount received above the original purchase price paid for the award
